The room was clean, the beds comfrortable and it had a microwave and refrigerator, which came in handy. The staff was friendly and helpful. All in all, it was a nice stay and a very good value for the money.

The clerk was very friendly and helpful. The room was freshly painted and nicely cleaned. My non-smoking room did not smell of old cigarette smoke which, in my experience, tends to be somewhat rare for low budget motels. The bed was great; so comfy. I would definitely recommend this motel for those looking for a decent stay at a low cost.

It was inexpensive and clean. The bathroom was huge and not as bad as some hotels I've stayed in. The room had a microwave, refrigerator, and tv and wireless. I was worried about the reputation of Motels in general, but the El Capitan was much better than expected from a motel. No bed bugs or any bugs...We purchased a Queen Room with 2 Queen beds and they put us in a decent room with an oversized bath but wanted to make sure we got good wireless connection.
I would have liked a different lock on the door for security. I'm a woman traveling with a 16 yr old girl. I like the hotel type (non-chain) security bars just for the extra security.
